Tissue Bank Braunschweig

The Tissue Bank Braunschweig is one of two locations in the DGFG network where cardiovascular tissue is processed and stored, besides the Heart Valve Bank Kiel. At the end of 2015, the Städtisches Klinikum Braunschweig became the fifth centre in Germany to put its heart valve bank into operation. Today, in addition to heart valves, corneas are also prepared in Braunschweig.
