Gernot Duncker, Prof. Dr. med. Frank Wilhelm and Dr. med. Timm Bredehorn-Mayr. Over two decades later, MCH now processes between 800 and 900 corneal donations per year. About 75 percent of the corneas are approved for transplantation.<\/p>\n<p>This is important for the University Hospital Halle\/Saale, where every tenth operation is a corneal transplant.
